My Trial Results of the Emergency Food – Was it really that good?
(update March 22 – They changed their policy and now “they” chose the 3 sample packs that the company sends you. There used to be a choice, but not anymore. So you may not be able to test out the same samples that i was able to test out. But they will give you 3 packs of sample food to try. The food is really good – you won’t be dissappointed.)
The emergency food arrived about 3 days later and i was anxious to test them out. I opened the pack of potato soup first. It was easy to make, you just add water and boil. The food smelled delicious like a potato soup that was freshly made with fresh potatoes and seasoning. It tasted very very delicious and i was really impressed. Also, i have a voracious appetite, and surprisingly a half of the soup i polished off and felt very satisfied and couldn’t eat anymore food. Which is very unusual for me. This is a good thing because in the case of a natural disaster i want to make sure i savoir the food and eat as little as possible. All in all, the potato soup was very good. This emergency food pack was enough for two people or two servings.
The next emergency food i tried was the corn chowder. This soup was easy to make, just add water. The food was also very delicious. It was similar to the potato soup but it also had a lot of corn in it for the chowder. Very delicious as well. Very filling and enough for two people. Many people, who are not awake as myself had asked me “why i would make that investment, if the food may eventually never be used”. My answer is; when you buy medical insurance, are you bummed when you don’t end up in the hospital , so that you can get to use your medical insurance because you paid for it? I feel so bad and want to cry every-time i hear another story of an elderly person who has had their 401K wiped out, and has to spend their retirement years working again. And to make matters worse they can’t find a job to support them and they are going hungry, and cant afford their life sustaining medications.
